But I'm really liking "gathering room" and "party room" too. Also I think a rec room could have a big board game table instead of a pool table, why not? He noted that "multipurpose room" would be an accurate description, but that makes our house sound like an elementary school. He liked "parlor" better than most of the other choices. He also liked the idea of calling it the ballroom, which would be completely inaccurate, but funny. We may just end up going with "big room." After all, we still have a room upstairs that we have yet to come up with a better name for than "small room."<br><br>Tim said he liked "rec room" because it implies that "it is the room you can really make a wreck<br>out of when you want to."
